Project Description

acapella® Vibratory PEP Therapy System
acapella® combines the benefits of both PEP therapy and airway vibrations to mobilise pulmonary secretions in COPD, asthma or CF patients. Design permits use while reclining, standing or sitting. Color-coded units (green for high-flow, blue for low), adjustable frequency and flow resistance let you customize treatment based on clinical needs.
The acapella® vibratory positive expiratory pressure (PEP) products are especially helpful in achieving the following therapeutic goals of bronchial hygiene therapy:
- Aiding in mobilization of retained secretions (in cystic fibrosis and chronic bronchitis patients) 1
- Preventing or reversing atelectasis 1
- Reducing air trapping in patients with asthma and COPD 1
- Optimizing delivery of bronchodilators in patients receiving bronchial hygiene therapy 1

Coach® 2 Volume Incentive Spirometers
Coach® 2 makes incentive spirometry easier for patients and staff alike. The one-way valve ensures patients inhale, rather than exhale into the unit. A highly-visible piston, easy to understand graphics (indicating correct inspiratory flowrate), and instructions in the base, help patients perform and monitor their own post-surgical breathing exercises without direct supervision. Other features include an 02 connection for supplemental oxygen, convenient handle, flexible popple tubing and bedrail holder.

EzPAP® PAP Therapy System
When incentive spirometry alone won’t open patients’ airways, expand your options with EzPAP®. Simply connect to a flow meter (wall air or O2 for enhanced FiO2), adjust to 5-15 lpm, and instruct the patient to breathe diaphragmatically through the mouthpiece or mask. Features a pressure port for connection to a gauge (recommended for initial use with each patient), and standard 22-mm OD fitting to accommodate a mouthpiece or mask.

ACE® MDI Holding Chamber
ACE® ensures prompt, effective delivery of aerolised medication from MDI canisters. Its versatile design permits use in a vent circuit, with an incentive spirometer, in conjunction with an endotracheal airway or resuscitation bag, and in routine oral inhalation. ACE®s unique, cone-shaped chamber maximizes respirable volume, while its clear construction helps clinicians and patients confirm availability of prescribed dose.
