Protect yourself and your team from scatter radiation. The RADPAD® Femoral Entry Angiography Shield provides excellent protection during any procedure with access through the femoral artery. The shield is also extremely effective in radial access procedures with only minor repositioning at the chest area for optimal results. Contact your sales representative for expert guidance in use.

The small fenestration and the slit to the shield edge provide maximum protection to hands and body and excellent maneuverability around the sheath.

When positioned correctly, the length of the shield should extend toward the patient’s head with the width down to the table. A positioning line on the shield shows where a pull-down shield is positioned to provide additional protection. Tests have shown that the addition of the pull-down shield virtually eliminates radiation exposure to the physician.
